Was a low-key performance but Gvardiol was brilliant

He’s good and he’s young but quite often looks flash only to ruin a a move by being overly casual with the final pass.

It’ll be interesting to see what Pep makes of him.

At the moment I prefer Ake defensively.

Agree — he was very good. I voted for Doku but Foden was also excellent. And I thought Haaland also had his most influential match in a bit. Scored and his run off the ball allowed the lane for Doku to feed Alvarez for the first.

I gave it Doku just for the first half performance although Foden was just as good.
