Brighton and Hove Albion PL (H) | Post Match Thread

Ahead twice; couldn't hold on either time for longer than 10 minutes. I'm too lazy to check, but I hate to think how many points we've thrown away from winning positions in the league this season. At a guess? 10-15? Even if we'd managed to get half of those lost points, the scrap for a CL spot would be so much easier.

And yes; I'm sure the other contenders have also thrown away leads. Not sure it'd be as many as us, mind. We SEEM to have lost a lot of leads so far.

We are shit. The most disturbing thing is we are getting worst week to week and we keep persisting with the same system approach etc. I can’t see who we are beating playing like that. I don’t think the players are playing for Pep. Rico might be but he’s shit.

Isn’t that fifth spot in doubt now? Not sure but I heard something on the radio about it this week
A very low chance it doesn't happen from here.

Pretty much need all the Italian teams to win the CL/EL/ECL, and for the English teams to go out asap.

Having sat thru 90 mind numbingly boring minutes at Forest last week, watching Bernardo pass backwards and sideways for the entire game, I'd like to say it was a surprise he was 1st change today....but it really wasn't! Also not a surprise his first 4 passes were backwards!

14 points dropped it said on the stream I watched pal

Just got back to the car, gonna be sat in the car park for about 30 minutes, it will probably be more entertaining watching cars jostling for position than the match was, that was a poor watch and I'm seriously struggling to take a single positive from it, they should have taken all 3 points, they missed 2 open goals.

Its all on Pep.
Lewis needs selling to the Conference division.
We've been found out.
Where's Mancini nowadays?
This team is finished.
We wont win anything with Pep :!

Take your pick guys, copy andf paste its ready for you.

Personally I thought we were poor, but its a rebuild season for us so it's bound to be. No other team in history has gone through and achieved what City have over the last few years so its to be expected, you cant win everything, all the time, forever.

Doku, frustrating for me but it seem everyone else thought he was good enough. But for me, off the ball he just lets the opposition wander into the box.

Marmoush (My motm) was industrious and made things happen.

Lewis, jeeez he is a weak link and we need to replace him in that position.

The ref really is a wanker.

When your luck is out it's out. The story of our season.
Signs of improvement.
Brighton are a good strong team very physical and the ref allowed alot of holding.
Brighton fans celebrating like there just won the league should be an interesting drive home when stopping at the service stations lol

I have no idea why Pep but Bernie on when he hadn't even warmed up was odd

Probably a fair result in the end, but either side could have won the game. Brighton ran through our midfield far too easily which is a familiar theme this season. I thought 1st half we played some decent football and we should have have gone into half time with a bigger lead. However, second half was a disappointment and Brighton were probably the better side..

Thankfully we didn't lose, but getting a top 5 place is not going to be be easy.
