A decent creative midfielder and we win that, we have nothing in midfield, don't need 6-7 players as the hyperbole suggests just 1 or 2 top class creative centre mids

In a vacuum, wanting our most successful manager fired sounds crazy. And many agree it's crazy. And I think the players need a new voice and I think that sounds crazy. But it's not a vacuum, it's 12 solid months of mediocre to poor performances. He was atrocious today, literally stood and watched us get countered on and looked like he didn't give a shit. Doesn't move, lazy as fuck.
Exactly this.There come a time with every manager when he can no longer deliver and that time has been reached with Pep. The rebuild has to be done with a new manager and new tactics. The incredible success he has enjoyed cannot be denied.
However his self-belief has now caught up with him. His signing of players and refusal to play them in their correct positions has been badly exposed this season. For someone of his supposed coaching abilities there has been no improvement in any of the players we have signed in the last 2 years and nobody has come through the youth system to establish himself. If Rico is the best we have what a shambles. Sorry to be so negative but truths have to be faced
The fact we went out and spent 60 million on yet another slow midfielder shows me there will be no change in tactics under him for next season. Doku has not improved his final ball, our defending has regressed awfully, even Haaland does not seem the same as his 1st season.
Same slow sideway passing when the game has now moved on to pace, power, press.
Worryingly, every team we face look fitter and better coached than us this season.

The big questions for me, has football evolved again to exploit the weaknesses in Pep’s system, or is it purely down to a fall-off and lack of intensity after 4 unbelievable seasons. Plus Rodri.
I don’t know but the manager has earned the benefit of the doubt to try and put it right.
