The crowd acted like it was our top side of the last 8 years playing shite. Didn’t get behind them, moaned at everything that wasn’t perfect, got on the backs of those making mistakes… the stands were a fucking disgrace today, hang your fucking heads in shame!

Just as we attacked to score our second, someone made a mistake and everyone around me fucking moaned like fuck. I shouted ‘STOP FUCKING MOANING!’ and then BANG Marmoush put us ahead… then as it quietened down I had a go at everyone around me for being moaning cunts.

Critiquing the game after it’s finished is one thing - we weren’t great today and there are a lot of things missing from the team/squad… but being like that while play is going on in the ground is for cunts.

Fucking reign it in you moaning fuckers!

Now is the time to have your moan, here is the place to do it, don’t fucking get on the backs of the young lads, inexperienced players and new signings IN THE GROUND! That’s the fucking last thing they need.

And just because they aren’t providing us with great football and 4-0 wins, don’t just sit in silence waiting for it to happen… be proactive in the stands and get behind the team. And stop fucking moaning at them in the ground!

You weren’t that guy in CB3 near the back and near the wall were you? Someone was having a right go at something and what seemed like everything from watching him! He was going apeshit. I was in SS3 and he caught my attention. Not sure what had riled him.

I don’t think that’s fair on Doku. His end product disappointing as it often is but he was our main attacking threat and created a lot of danger. Dreadful is not the right description for me. Hard working and dangerous but frustrating more like it.

Disagree. Luck can be offered on a plate to some players like Salah. He gets a foul whenever an opponent goes near him. Today, Doku & Haaland were constantly pulled back & got nothing.

Re players playing themselves into form - ask any club if winning as much as we have consistently for 7 years is exhausting - they won’t know the answer because they’ve never done it in this era.

Fans have to give the club a bit of leeway this year & basically - stop fucking moaning

Who the fuck are you to say someone's moaning.

Adults are debating the team and the current season mate disagreeing or not..

And mo salad love him or hate the **** seems to do it most seasons. He's a great player nobody can deny that.

Any number of players have lost their 'nerve' this season, Stefano, being just one of them.

He looked like a reincarnation of Bravo today.

He's been a great No 2 and performed superbly for 99% of the time.

The entitled, moaning bastards on here should be thankful !!

He’s not going to change is he, I’m sure he’d rather get sacked.

I also think there’s an element of, if he were to abandon his principles, the players would lose faith him in.

I’ve lost the energy for being angry this season. Hoping for a top 5 finish, and doing ourselves proud in the FA Cup, but it’s not the end of the world if we don’t, as long as we invest next season to get back to the top.

So effectively we lose 60% more when he plays, but also draw more and win less when he doesn’t play.

Strange thread.
Tough game against a tough opponent, and a strange game in some ways.
Both sides looked dangerous. Us with Marmoush and Doku, and Brighton with fast direct attacks.
We were, however, porous in the midfield, which made the defence look vulnerable.
Criticism of Lewis is strange, but predictable.
Gonzo and Gundo is simply not athletic enough to cope with us playing an additional attacker in support of Erling. Rodri and Gonzo may well be the longer-term solution with this formation, or it's one central attacker and an extra central midfield.
Calls for Guardiola's head are pathetic, and only seem to be made by those with very few posts.

You can't mean the 2 that played today.

Sav is too soft, doesn't think it should be a contact sport,

Doku, took him 10 minutes to realise the game had started but when he did it was mostly wrong decision.

Keep saying it but playing them both is fucking suicide
 
The way we are playing at the moment I believe today's result was OK. Next week I genuinely don't fancy us when I see Gundolan and Lewis in the same team my heart sinks .League results are what really matters champions league qualifying and a big rebuild in the summer

It's fucking unbelievable and could damage Erl.

Didn't get a fucking chance again today apart from that hard 1 first half when it was crossed low at speed.
 
Nothing wrong with a moan when the team are shit, and we're just pump right now. So, let people moan. Not even sure right now that we'll get top 5 which won't be good. Added to this is Bournemouth away in the cup. I don't think our players have it in them to 'up their game' for a given occasion. We're a busted flush this season - for the cup we just need to hope Bournemouth have a shocker.

Oh, I know everyone can have a moan, but anyone asking for Pep to leave really needs to take a rest from football. Walk away for a week or two.

Yes, of course we've seen worse but let's put it into context. I've been watching us for over 50 years and I've seen good times and bad times. But the difference is that most of the time we were poor, I knew we weren't great, including during the two full Pearce seasons. I didn't turn up to home and away games expecting us to score 4 or 5. It was 18 years ago this very weekend when I went up to Boro when we were in danger of relegation and, to my surprise, we won. That helped keep us up.

But today I watched the defending PL champions and the team that's still technically World Club champions and I watched the PFA player of the year put a 5-yard pass into touch.

Salah IS a great player but so is Haaland without any help from refs
