Brighton away tkts on sale.

How did they get individuals phone numbers from their use names ?
They definitely have some mechanism of tracking what’s going on
They also nailed a few off twitter from last season I believe

Because some people give info away without realising, lots of bluemooners have their dob in the profile. I think that's how @Maybeinanothergeneration will have been caught out.

@welsh_andy lists his town in his profile I'd guess there's only one Andy from there who bought Brighton away tickets.

I've just updated my privacy settings to stop people checking my profile.

For anyone going sunday or have spares who you have in your name and sold to someone else.. please be careful i sold a spare & city contacted me and said i have stopped another fan going - its been sold to another blue (potential ban now) and the ticket has been refunded and blocked.. i did not see the issue it was sold for FV aswell. Just an FYI
Has happened to me as well this, it's that new ticket compliance nonce. Failed police officer, shouldn't be anywhere near this role. I spoke to him, and the way he conducts himself is an absolute disgrace

Did you advertise your ticket somewhere?
Or just forward on the email to someone?

Bought one for me and a mate both on my account. When my mate couldn't make it I decided to take my lad instead.

Then my mate got a random call a week before the game and the way he worded it was "Are you going to the Wolves game?", to which my mate said no because he wasn't. (In hindsight, my pal should've been smarter here, but we live and learn)

The twat then calls me in a very confrontational manner, accusing me of touting, telling me that my account is being placed in the 'High Risk' category. I lost my lads ticket and was refunded the money.

I've only been following city home and away for 57 years, and it just feels like that loyalty means absolutely fuck all to them.

Getting that way
40 years me season ticket holder
Rang me back in March cos I bought 5 derby tickets all legit for lads who were going via the ff account they set up, quizzing me about passing them on

Pretty sickening tbh given the amount of effort and money I and the others have put in to get over 30k loyalty (city) points

However when there’s 10 “overseas” fans in a row at Brighton Arsenal OT Anfield
They won’t bat an eyelid

Warning just had City on phone as passed mine on as couldn't go. First time I couldn't go if I remember so not sure how they knew. So warning to you all. Be aware
How did you pass it on? If you transferred it via the website that's how they would know.

Well when he refunded my son's ticket he told me that it's going to go to someone who's 'deserving' of the ticket.

Anyway when I got to my seat at the game I quizzed the bloke who they'd sold the seat on to. He'd never been to the Etihad before! And this is the bloke who's more 'deserving' of the ticket than my lad who has had a season ticket himself for 25 years.

Do you reckon he just called your mate at random? Wonder if they're doing random sweeps, checking people who have bought multiple tickets in one purchase?

What a disgrace, both for substance and form. Anyone who's been following City for that long deserves a medal, rather than a "High Risk" label.

But it's clear (in my view) that the corporate strategy is to get rid of older supporters and make way for day-trippers who spend money on accommodation, souvenirs etc. and post on social media. They can dress it up any way they want, but that's their aim.

Seems that City are intentionally targeting long standing loyal fans and not the tourists who get away tickets via club officials and ticket websites. Disgraceful.

About right. Just sums up everything wrong atm with our wonderful club targeting the ‘legacy fans’ without which HRH would have have f-all to buy, invest in and make even more billions in 2008 !

I've said it for years now, but If that really is the long term Strategy, then it's going to blow up in their face. It already started last season, with high profile home games such as Villa and Inter Milan failing to sell out.
