Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Their winger was roasting Walker in the Second Half and it was inevitable that if Brighton equalised then they'd probably get another. They should have scored when Ederson made the point blank save and it was only a matter of time

Gundogan returning hasn't worked and I feel sorry for McAtee, who can't even get minutes during the worst injury crisis I can ever remember.

Things will slowly improve but this is more than a blip. The club is drifting and the "we always do better after February" brigade will be in for a shock.
I would also add that only three players from the Champions League Final Starting XI also started yesterday (Ederson Gundogan Haaland) and that Includes all four defenders (Stones Ake Dias Akanji) from the win over Inter

Not expecting sympathy but not once have I seen us described as depleted or injury ravaged

Stop being so overly dramatic jeeez. Football fans of nowadays are so fkin weak.

What do Swindon Town 'n City have in common? There's two quite distinct answers. Either will be acceptable. Answer will be provided after the first guess, right or wrong!

Just when yer think yer've turned a corner. . . . . . . .

First time Pep's lost four in a row. Only last May he was winning four in a row. Football can change quickly and not only bite yer in the arse it comes back and kicks yer in the bollocks. And it was all going so well - women on Friday, kids yesterday dinnertime . . . . . . . . . !

Thought Pep got it badly wrong with the subs yesterday, to my mind he has to keep as many young legs on the pitch as possible, taking Savinho off was an awful decision, keeping him on meant Brighton would have had something to think about defensively, KDB looked a million miles from being ready, ponderous, tentative and slow, it felt completely the wrong moment to introduce him in the game, he looks a million miles off being ready to influence us in the way we are used to. We need Jack back and playing centrally, we lack athleticism and physicality, too many old legs at the same time is going to kill us this season
The worry for me was that Kev looked scared and I think he may realise himself that his race is run.
Watching yesterday's game I though to myself we are beginning to resemble the Rags. Can play alright for 15 or 20 minutes and then decend into the abyss for the rest of the game.
Let's hope this is not going to happen, the next series of games before the New Year will be crucial. With respect to the league and our ability to win it, I am feeling a bit like Kamala Harris must have felt at midnight last Tuesday.
