Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Any team in the Premier league without the quality of players we have missing their standards would drop.
Hopefully most of them back soon I do not understand the panic ffs.
The panic may stem from the manner of the last two defeats. We witnessed near collapse in the 2nd half of these games. Injuries do explain a lot of the recent reversals but there is a tired bedraggled look about a lot of our play in recent weeks. Hopefully Pep will sign an extention and go about a rebuild which sets us back on course.

Don't you think that's what forums are for - no one expects or wants the club to listen...Imagine if that happens at your work - random people, possibly majority with no experience commenting on your orgs work!! Forums are a place for fans to debate - for that you need different opinions...we'd be in North Korea without an aired opinion
No-one's saying opinions shouldn't be voiced. Ask the most vocal ten closest fans to me in the east stand for their opinion and you get ten angry and ten different finger-pointing opinions. It's amusing. And there's the 'Get it forward brigade' and the 'Play faster football mob'. Our players are coached to take the ball into crowded areas, to pass the ball to players being marked, and to hold onto the ball in areas where losing possession can result in one-on-ones with Eddie. We play high risk footy, I love it and it's what wins us trophies. With the absences, we can't get our usual game together. But it's out of this world that we haven't had a run like this before now in Pep's time - all top teams have these dips - and yes some rebuilding is required. After twelve games the Prem table does not lie - every team is exactly where they deserve to be - Tarquins fourth, Rags twelfth. We deserve to be second - the season is almost a third of the way through. At some point we'll have more fit players and hit form as we rebuild.
