Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | Post Match Thread

We missed Rodri in midfield tonight, if we'd put another centre back on and moved him into the middle we would of have much more control and dominated the ball more

Pure hangovers so way off our usual standards.

Good momentum sustainer against what I think is the 3rd best side in the league.

If Brighton had a proper striker or two they’d be a right firm.

Nice to see Palmer looking the part on the ball. Confident and always wanting to run at his opponent.

Just want everyone to have got through it unscathed. To me it’s bizarre to risk injuries ahead of our finals for meaningless games like this.

Difficult game against a decent Brighton side who play some good football. Foden was our star man tonight and deserved his goal. Just hope Stones is ok.

Brighton are fast becoming my favourite other PL club. Really well run, well managed, and best placed alongside Newcastle to challenge the traditional "top clubs".

City had enough chances to say we should have won. But Ortega is MOTM for me.

It wasn't that bad performance as most say.
It was not good, but not that bad.

Provided also that we played on 70-75 % of our powers, not really pushing 100 % most of the time.
Hope Foden and Stones are ok, and I guess they will be, nothing serious was obvious.

This mediocre performance would wake us up more and make the players realize winning PL is not the end of the season and we have to go back to full force, full focus, concentration and give full energy every game in the 2 finals, as opponents will not comply and deliver us the cup. We have to fight for everything!

Did the var replay show the pushes-pulls from Colwill on Haaland ? Gutted for those with 40 goal bets, it’s almost like somebody doesn’t want that bet to come in, probably some large bets in Asia

They are a good side. Play a great brand of football; they don’t have the quality of player that City do.

Disappointed about the disallowed goal: looked a bit of sixes but Erling didn’t need to pull the shirt.

Save the goals and wins for the finals.
