Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | Post Match Thread

Pep has run his course. It happens to all. For the last 18 months or more he’s completely failed in his ability to organise and motivate his team. We are nothing. Thank him for what he did for us and get rid. Then do whatever it takes to get Vinny back here. I’m sure he could manage to motivate this sorry team before it’s too late.

Pep could relegate us and he'd still have my support. The guy who's done so much for us, continues to do so much for us. A little respect and support from a section of our fans when facing relative adversity wouldn't go amiss.

So he can do no wrong in your eyes and our decline can continue off the back of past glories.

To be a bit ridiculous but sadly with a grain of sensibility. Too many have been great servants are now passed it and too many new players have alleged great potential but will be another season before we see it. Where are the players who are now second/third season and delivering
Sadly this list is probably headed by Nunes and Doku ffs

What I find troubling is that I thought we got Pep Lijnders to help support Pep Guardiola build a team of intensity. It is disheartening seeing players out run ours. I wonder what Lijnders is doing if we are still using slow players.

Hugo Viana and Pep Lijnders need to improve their game.

Or we could go through a transition period which may take longer than we'd hope and stick with him because he's earned it.

When we see what follows him, I'm sure those wanting him punted after 1 poor season will reconsider what they wished for.

Words fail me today, dont get ne wrong I have seen shitter than shit, the your not fit to wear the shirt days, and the what the fuck is going on days, we got lucky with investment and good owners, we became a team that was feared,.pellegrini and mancini, pep came along, he brought us a whole new philosophy and a whole new way of football, it was amazing, but unfortunately it was sussed out a long time ago, and we dont.seem to be able to change it, tiki taki football has gone, teams are all over it, either we get a plan b or we are done

One poor season spilling over into the second. Off the back of two cup final defeats to lower half league sides.

I fully know we won’t win as much with anyone else in the future and can accept that. I just don’t see how we do with pep moving forwards. Especially with the standard of football being served up. It could be better than it is from a performance point of view. Surely the biggest pep defenders see that.

We had more than enough chances in that first half to put that game to bed and we wasted them. We weren’t even good, Brighton were shite.

Their manager spotted the shiteness and made a risky move, 4 subs at the same time and we didn’t react at all. Pep can’t legislate for stupidity (Nunes), but he did pick him… what he can do is change things up, but he just refuses to and it is causing us issues. He has to find another way. We made 2 subs to do exactly the same things as those they replaced.

We don’t look fit, we don’t look hungry, there’s no arrogance, no graft and no desire.

Khusanov, apart from a silly challenge was decent, as was Rodri for an hour until his legs went, Marmoush was alright in spells, I’d like to see him play centrally and Trafford made some very good saves.

Overall just not good enough. It’s on Pep to sort it.
Of course its on Pep. Who else would it be on?

We're absolutely shit. Just missing that creative spark from the team like prime KDB, David Silva or Gundo had. Proper passers they were. Reijnders isn't that - he can pass but he's more of a ball carrier. And all our wingers are crap on top of that. I see Cherki more on the wing now too unless his work rate improves drastically. Hope Livramento and Wharton come in tomorrow and then it's not too bad.
I’m hoping for a date with George Clooney tomorrow and I would say there’s more chance of that happening that us signing these two

no one on here is going to argue that Pep isn’t a bloody legend for what he’s achieved for us,

However, I really am starting to worry that he no longer has the answers.

We are being outcoached and outplayed every game

Its not the first 3 games this season, but last season games
When you spot a weakness in your armour you fix it pretty quick and that is what scare me about Pep

Everybody has spotted our weakness and Pep hasn't
Fullbacks or lack of fullbacks at the club is crazy ? just because you got a left foot Pep will play, you are left back doesn't matter if you have never learned to be a defender or fullback your in.

A solid setup in defence creates stability and conference to build from

He’s doing fucked up crazy things and has been for over a year. In my eyes it started with letting the squad spend a week on the piss before the second cup final with the rags.
Mancini gave us glory but got fucked off, so did Pellegrini, Pep was brought in for one reason and one reason only, to win the Champions League, it took him seven years and we also bagged masses of domestic pots, but that’s history.

Thing is today, we went behind and you'd think, here we go, we're gonna throw the kitchen sink for an equaliser in the 7 or so minutes left.. Nope! Not even a half chance, just peatered out into a limp shite acceptance of another defeat. It didn't help when Pep takes off an attacking midfielder in the dying moments and replaced him with a fuckin defender! Phone Geordies up right now and give the fuckers 150 million for Guemetarus and 100 mill for Livermernto(excuse spelling) and stop fuckin about!
Should have done that last week!

Pellegrini and mancini did a lot, several players did a lot, but what would your thoughts be on us playing aguero up top at 45 because he has done a lot for us?
