Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | Post Match Thread

Pep signs nice guys, everyone else gets huge advantages over us by conning the refs at every opportunity, whilst we look on bemused
If we have to resort to that, it'll de-value every post on here about other teams' players feigning it.

City has higher standards than that.

Pep could relegate us and he'd still have my support. The guy who's done so much for us, continues to do so much for us. A little respect and support from a section of our fans when facing relative adversity wouldn't go amiss.
sorry mate but sentimentality has no place in the premier league, peps provided us with years of happy memories
but if we dont evolve we get left behind.
if this season continues like last season and pep cant turn this around then for me its only a matter of time before we start getting stories of player unrest and our best players wanting out.
its difficult enough trying to sign a list players and i dread the day someone like rodri starts dreaming of madrid due to our decline.
that being said its still early and i havnt given up on pep yet but lose to the rags then pep goes into the champs league against napoli under extreme pressure.
as for todays game i think its clear that every team has now worked us out, every single game weve played so far the opponent has just won the ball back and smashed it upfield and its fucking working, pep is getting as stubborn as the wanker over the road refusing to change things up.
worrying times.

I’m more hoping he be farmed out on loan somewhere by 7pm tomorrow night!
I’ve got a full tank of petrol and will happily drop the dozy **** off anywhere in the UK. At a push I can buy him a ticket on RyanAir to the back of beyond.

I hope its just a lack of fitness after not having a pre-season, but something tells me there is more to it.

Buying "value" players has come back to bite us as they aren't good enough. There's a reason why nobody was paying 80-100mill for some of them, they are tier 2 players. We've got a shit load of wingers and they are all crap.

Dreading the derby, even Amorim can beat our lot, the way we are playing.

Just back …

Trafford did well in making some good saves. Oscar Bobb tried hard and was main attacking threat and good to see Rodri back.

Overall, we don’t seem to be fit enough and the pushing up of Alt-Nouri upfield is not helping. Teams pressing these days make us lose possession too easily.

Just as well it’s an international break.

It has felt like Scott Sinclair for a few years now.

we used to be able to overcome the ref bias and opposition dark arts as we were so much better, now we have regressed we are getting it tight every game
