Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | Post Match Thread

No surprise to anyone that after another disaster window when zero of last seasons issues have been adressed, the issues are still there. It's hard to understand how anyone at the club can possibly be of the opinion that what we have is good enough. Remove Haaland and Rodri from this squad and we have a worse squad than Spurs.

Marmoush is the sparkplug, Khusanov is knitting the defense together! Take em off and it all falls apart!

Way too slow/ predictable without them in it and we invited it.

And Haaland needs to score better than 1/4 chances! Game should have been over before it got to 60 mins and Brighton made the changes.

The only person who deserved plaudits tonight is TRAFFORD!

If we get top four/five playing like this, it would be a miracle—so many average players. Nunes/Ait Nouri come to mind as especially shambolic tonight. Our midfield is soft as shit. Trafford seems a good shot stopper, but he’s so uncomfortable on the ball compared to Ederson that teams press us more effectively than ever.

I genuinely love Pep, but I think time has run its course. The players clearly need a new voice. There’s zero effort off the ball out there, and he seems devoid of ideas, and it’s the third game of the season.
