Need Foden, Cherki and Savinho back desparately.

We are lacking creativity.

Nunes at fault for the pen, but then we sub on Lewis to play his usual attacking inverted role and the back line becomes a mess on their 2nd goal.
 
We had a 15 year run at the very top table - but it's over.

Quality has left in the likes of Walker/Laporte/Sterling/Sane/KDB/Mahrez - inferior players have been brought in to replace them. We stopped shopping at the top end and instead have tried to buy "potential" - the result is a group of players who will never be good enough to compete for the type of trophies we used to be in the hunt for.

We are below United in the table and they're a laughing stock. So what the hell does that tell you about where we are?

That one today was the exact same game at Brighton as last season; in fact the same game we watched from Nov-March last season. Conceded an equaliser and just completely folded and shit ourselves.

We have no idea who our no1 keeper is or what the best centre half pairing is. The Right Back situation is a joke. Central Midfield is a mess and devoid of top end quality bar Rodri; our wide players belong at the likes of Wolves or Sunderland - not on a team with our supposed ambitions.

It's going to be a long season I'm afraid. Lose the Derby game in 2 weeks and I genuinely have no idea where we end up, as we will get slapped at Arsenal the week after as well.

A spineless showing that today but it's time for some home truths for this squad. They just aren't that good anymore.
 
What I find most worrying is how many players have regressed or not improved. We used to buy players are transform them into world class talents. Now we're looking at players like Haaland and Dias and wondering where the player from 2 years ago has gone. And Haaland is still one of the best in the world, but he's gone from a goal a game to scoring 2 in 3. We bought Doku as a raw talent who needs to work on his end product, and 2 years later, he's still a raw talent with no end product.

The clambering for Academy players to play is fucking shite!!! Not a single one of them now not worth a start!!!!

No point in having a prolific striker-albeit given the service-if when opportunity arise-you don't put the ball in the box!!!

Great vocal support today but that's not enough.
 
Wanker than wank. Same as last season going forward - no urgency. And even worse at the back.
Something has to change and QUICKLY.
Out managed again Guardiola.
 
Pep needs to understand that this brand of football only goes as far as the players can take it. A couple not quite up to it and it falls apart and you will lose to more physical energetic sides.
 
The whole fucking narrative around klopps number two really challenging us too move the ball quicker and be much more on the front foot lasted all of one game. Back to our boring side to side slow bollocks.
 
2nd half was shocking

Brighton made the changes and we just couldn't react, this is down to the management.
 
The headloss on BM when the rat dives and scores a last minute penalty winner in the derby in a couple week will go down in history.
 
Not good especially after giving away a needless penalty (I gave plenty of credit to Nunes but no excuses with that). Not a chance we are winning the league this season.
 
Be interesting to hear from all the usual apologists...Rodri back will make a difference, Stones back will make a difference, changing the Keeper (who played well to be fair) wont change the quality we have playing out from the back or Pep will change it.... The club are obviously right cause they dont think we need a right back or a centre half.

All hugely wrong but they will come on here making out tht being bigger blues makes them right
