We go into this as underdogs, said this before tonight and tonight only confirms it. I don't expect pep to change it for this and as such I think it's entirely dependent on Brightons finishing as to whether we get another thumping or not. Of they take their many chances, they'll smack us. Will be the result of the season so far for us if we win this.
Ederson
Walker
Akanji
Ake
Gvardiol
Kovacic
Bernardo
Foden
Nunes
Savinho/doku (whoever is the fittest)
Haaland
Not really much different from tonights lineup by names but the shape is what has to be different. We need a proper back 4 with 2 central midfielders, that's kovacic alongside bernardo for a solid 4-2-3-1 shape, not a back 3, 1 midfielder, 3 number 10s 2 wingers and a striker where 6 of our players are completely out of the game as soon as we dont have the ball.
We've waited this long for kdb to come back, as much as he's needed, long term it doesn't make sense to play him when he's got 2 weeks off after this.
Can't believe how many are dropping Nunes who has been by far our standout player of the last month.
