A new member here. Tottenham supporter. Here to learn about Man City thinking and ways. First time ever visiting a Man City forum. I generally like Guardiola. I think he is a great manager (duh), but I meant more as a bloke too. He seems like a decent character in his press conferences and seems to manage his players well. Not a lot of bullshit that I've heard coming out Man City dressing room, etc. So that that's just my general, outside impression.

I watched highlights of the loss to Sporting. I got the impression City got punished by some refereeing decisions. I thought some fouls were called that players might have gotten away with in the Premier League. That loss, perhaps, shouldn't have been as bad as it was or as it looked. But I didn't watch the game.
Hello. Whatever you do, don't say anything positive about Spurs as you'll get slaughtered. People on here are by and large not welcoming of other fans.....

Get on the Spurs thread and mention the '81 cup final........

Pep has been here for nine years and only now you have decided to post , hmmm

I suppose the law of averages were always going to create balance after a near complete 12 months unbeaten in the league; let’s not be precious or entitled, we have been maxed in terms of of rinsing every drip from the squad with game repetition, coupled with mother time for a few of the players…

This could go on for another 2/3 games given the predicament, however, and it’s monumentally important, the mid table teams have improved hugely, taking points from those on the perch, that is going to be our safety net in terms restricting someone running away with it…. We remain the Arkle of football, those strides will flex in the home straight…

Anyway, perfect game for us today with brightons approach, Foden will run the show in the hole…

1-3, x2 Haaland and zangief to continue his ridiculous scoring record away from home (:

Haha, you don’t have to be a rival fan either, more in fighting on here than a trade union brunch in a coal mine (:

Welcome.

Might I politely suggest getting your feet wet by following a few different threads before jumping in with both feet? It will help you understand the both the tone and tenor of the various threads, what is taken seriously and what devolves into puns and laughter, and what the (too numerous to mention for away fans) faux pas are in posting.

Good luck! If you are open to a bit of back and forth and an occasional “fuck you” or the ever popular “Rag” for any comment even remotely critical of certain things, yet reflecting anything positive on any other team, you’ll do well.

Oh, and if you don’t live in the UK, tread carefully, because foreigners don’t know fuck about football. I know because I get told repeatedly, even though I’m from Manchester!

Happy trails…
