Ederson
Walker
Akanji
Ake
Gvardiol
Kovacic
Nunes
Foden
Doku
Savinho
Haaland

Nunes' energy in the middle of the park. Watch the goals flow and the defence look solid*

City 3-2 Brighton

*in comparison to last night.

35 mins last night tremendous need desperately to finish chances actually last 5 mins Spuds and Bournemouth should have nicked draws.
Drop 10 yards deeper to high up getting balls played through with us all in opposition hale needs to stop.
Come on start fast please.
1-3 city ( Blue tinted on )

The difference is they would have been “nicked”. It's the operative word, especially where the Bournemouth match was concerned. Last night it would not have been nicked, because we really should have gone in 3-1 or even 4-1 up at half-time, then it's a completely different match. We absolutely shot ourselves in the foot.

100% your right we need need to some how get back to having yhe ability tk put games to bed early.
Also Nicking a few isnt a bad trait Wolves for example.
Onwards and upwards we will turn it around

Brighton will smell blood and try and get after us. So we need to go with traditional wingers, Doku on the right and Savinho on the left and get them in behind their defence as much as possible.

I would go with

EM

KW MA NA JG

IG PF KDB

JD EH SAV

We could possibly start Phil on the left and play Kovacic instead of Doku but I feel it's shit or bust time now so we should go with an attacking lineup.

There's more than enough pace in that side to cause them problems and we have to start defending better sooner rather than later.
That, on the occasions Pep has done this, has looked woefully lop-sided and limited both their impact.
