Changed my prediction to a win based on that team. I like that Khusanov, Nunes and Rodri start. City's back line looks quick. I am less positive about Marmoush and Trafford but expected Trafford to play anyway.

Very much needed pace in the backline in Nunes and khusanov. Should hopefully prevent Trafford from having to play sweeper too and potentially making another mistake, the lad needs all the help to avoid that for a while if we dont want to wreck him. Feels early for Rodri to be starting in my eyes but if the doctors say hes ready then great. Good to see Reijnders back in the 10 role, doesn't look good as an 8 for me.

Feels like we have to win this after last week's shitshow. Back to back dropped points with united and arsenal next would be a disaster.

I thought last week's team was excellent. Before the game. Consequently, I'll keep my opinion on today's XI to myself.

I didn't like the fact Rico was at RB or Marmoush at LW.

This time I am concerned with Marmoush at LW and having Rodri and Bernardo central. Rodri's legs aren't there yet and we could get overrun.

We will soon see!

Its a shit show the keeper situation currently

I was never convinced by the Trafford signing. Last time he was in the premier league he was awful, so bad Burnley dropped him. A year later, after a great season in the championship and after watching a clip of all his great saves ....I thought...mmm...maybe he's matured and improved. After the Spurs game I went back to not being convinced. He looked like the Trafford I saw in the premier league with Burnley. There is a huge difference between the championship and premier league and Trafford looks lightweight and out of his depth. He's only 22 so who knows? For me he needs a couple of years out of the spotlight bedding in and playing cup games. I hope he has a blinder and proves me totally wrong.

I can already see some posters, who will want Khusanov on the bench again, after an error for a goal.
Hope he will show a great display.
he is going to make errors but he won't learn anything unless he does, the kid has speed to burn and hopefully Stone can encourage him and guide him. Kush has been around the team long enough to see how it works now .

All this jealousy about Dias and his lifestyle on here haha. Lots of aging, fat, balding middle aged men on here today
absolutely not jealous of him at all, itd be the same with any footballer, when you're playing well and everything is going for you then nobody will take issue with anything you do, when you are playing badly and not putting in the performances people will always say concentrate on your football and doing the things which got you that lifestyle in the first place, the football should always take precedence over the lifestyle.

Pace at the back is the main thing with our high line tactics. Worried to death about Trafford playing out but hopefully we’ll go a bit longer to Haaland and Marmoush over the top occasionally. Rodri and Bernardo will also help with their constant and confident offers to Trafford. That was massively missed last week. More optimistic than I was half an hour ago :)
Rodders will provide the top of the triangle for passing, especially useful with the keeper.

I just hope that having semi played out as soon as some pressure is applied we don't give it back to Trafford. There's no shame in clearing the lines rather than stressing a young keeper.

Ha ha yes we have no idea how it's going to go. Too many new players bedding in, a new backroom staff trying out different ideas and the usual early season rustiness.

i think theyve gone pace at the back to allow stones to step into midfield like he used to
