Haaland utterly pointless at the moment. I’d honestly leave him out for this one. Might give a kick up the arse - or a rest if he’s got a niggle. Something isn’t right with him though.

Form is irrelevant here, plenty that should be dropped but it's a case of get 11 fit players into some workable formation.

To me I'd class Rodri as unavailable too in addition to the 9 unavailable by the end of today. He can be an option for 20 minutes from the bench but it would be repeated madness to start him again.

Perhaps Nico could return, have we heard what his injury even is? Didn't seem like something serious his availability would be big. Faint hope Dias and Gvardiol aren't serious but I'd be very surprised if either are available anytime soon.

Based on everybody else still being out I'd bring lewis in at right back, Khusanov coming into defence enables us to do without Nunes' pace in the backline so I'd move him into midfield with Bernardo and Reijnders, Foden drops to the bench, not been good enough, I'd drop Cherki too if there was anybody else available to replace him, if semenyo gets done in the next 48 hours, I'd throw him straight in.

Not sure if you're serious mate. Haaland was v. good today. One of his best non scoring games. He helped out in defence, had a few lovely cushioned headers for lay offs and worked well on the ball. He also had a cracking effort of the post. Granted, he was poor against Sunderland but today he was great. I'll also tell you what's not right with him, it's his teammates not seeing his lovely runs.

We're 10 games unbeaten and have won 8/10 home league games all season. We need to have as much confidence as what we know we're capable of every game, not only 50% thinking we're going to win.

I really don't think players are going to perform based upon how anonymous users on a forum reply to a poll though.

The fans will be behind them at the stadium, and will hope they win, but some think they might not with all the injuries.

Still there is never a benefit from being negative.
 
I see a few have not included phil in their starting eleven and I totally agree.
He's dropped off these last few weeks. If he's not influencing games along with Bernardo we can't afford to carry two midfielders in the premier league.
Seen enough from Khusanov yesterday to suggest a start especially with Gvardiol injured.
 
Talk about must win its a massive game now this we have to win, the Cup game Saturday seems pointless and I can't see any of the first 11 starting

For me the back line has to be O'Reilly, Ake, Khusanov, Nunes/Lewis. Resting is going to have to wait until Exeter for O'Reilly.

I reckon Rodri starts and gets another 60/70 minutes in the tank and then Nunes can slot in at defensive midfielder like he did vs West Ham, and Lewis can go right back.

I can't even remember seeing Rico in the new high, wing-back system meaning we will probably see him in the midfield instead.

We need 3 points vs Brighton. We can't let Arsenal get any more than 6 points ahead of us, because then it starts getting difficult.

All out vs Brighton and rest all vs Exeter imo.
 
Injuries starting to be a real concern after weeks of having just about a full house. If Gvardiol and Dias are out we are in big trouble at the back, not that Ake and Khusa aren't good CB's, they certainly are, but rather one of them is injury prone and if they go down...oh dear.
O'Reilly should have been rested v Chelsea, another meh performance but now he is going to have to start again as we are threadbare at the back.
BHA are not in great form so we should be beating them.
Some "creative" players who have been dreadful for the last few games need to step up for this one in our time of need!
 
Let's hope Khusanov, Nico, Doku and Rodri are fit after the kickings they received, otherwise I make that nine fit outfield players!

Imagine the uproar if we informed the premier league we don't have enough first team players to field a team, I bet they'd be right on it with a fine and deduction.

That back four as it stands will get ripped to shreds against the better teams. If Dias and Gvardiol are out for a lengthy period we have to look at bringing someone else in

That back four is the stuff of nightmares mate, but it's the only option unfortunately
 
Have to go with strongest available 11, hope we can find the net a few times and then start subbing off the vulnerable
