Brilliant Nasri Interview

Great read that. Interesting that Mancini gets so much stick for criticising his players in public and Wenger is the complete opposite and never does it. Yet we all know which manager has been more successful in recent years.

Really great read and I'd be really unhappy if we sold him as it legitimately seems he wants to stay and he's going tin be so good if he continues to grow. Go on samir and grab one for us tomorrow

One of the best interview's I've read. It's nice to hear what he thinks about things.

I like that he goes home and watches all the football he can too. He's passionate about the game.

He's had a pretty hard time from Arsenal fans and the media in the past two years. Hopefully he can build on his recent performances and keep getting better for City.

Wow. A great interview. Great questions and great answers. No one has ever bothered to defend Nasri or show his side of the story, so I'm glad this interviewer gave him the chance. That bit about how he's felt like he's been fighting against the entire world says a lot.

His honesty is remarkable and I love how much he knows about this game.. I mean he was pulling stats and facts out that I don't think the average fan could recite off hand.

Also, the fact that he was killing himself over that derby goal.. I don't think we always realize how bad our players feel in those situations, and the fact he has managed to turned things around for himself after the abuse he was getting even from city fans is very impressive to me. Constant abuse from Arsenal fans, constant abuse from French and English media, and to top it all off his own club's fans were giving him shit. I think many would've given up at that point, but he's ready to stay here and fight. Good on him!

" I want to stay here and show everyone — the fans, the people at the club who trusted me and made my transfer a reality — that they haven’t seen the real Samir yet. I want to perform for them, I don’t want to leave. I’m not the type of guy who just leaves when there is a difficulty. No, I want to stay and show everyone I have the quality and perform really well."

Quality interview. Cant help but feel a bit sorry for the guy, after all the abuse. I think most blues want to keep him if he continues to deliver like he has the last weeks.

With a bit of luck that might change a few opinions!

Great read. I have been hugely critical of him this season (and am not alone in that on here!) but it sounds like he's got his head together.

In true fickle football fan fashion, all will be forgiven if he scores the winner today!

Intelligent, articulate, candid-so refreshing. I took to Samir after he rejected utd to come here and after reading all the crap he got from Arsenal fans. Glad he's stepped it up lately.
Tevez was able to repair his relationship with (most) fans, surely we can give Samir the same, esp since he *wants* to be here.

Nasri is a very good player , nobody can doubt that ..... on the occasions when he actually performs , he makes a real difference to the team , and our football becomes 'slick'.

I really hope he buckles down to the task here , and helps us win the title back ....

Thanks for that - good read.

One problem though, read this morning in bed on my phone and 'Dom' only goes and quotes it! ;)
