Brilliant Nasri Interview

Tell you what else was great about that, the bit about the players after Southampton, getting together of their own volition and saying "We were shit, no more, sort it out".

Excellent interview, thanks for posting.

I like that the players themselves said after the Southampton game that it wasn't good enough and they had to sort it. But of course everyone in the media will just tell you they are here for the money.

Samir Nasri has all the qualities to be a world class midfielder, I'm looking forward to him showing us all what he's capable of.

This is why Pellegrini is suposedly being employed,he is a coach and man manager with a reputation of utilising players optimally and getting the very best out of them as individuals and footballers.

It would be interesting to see what he can do with a talent such as Nasri.

Sell him, probably.

More than possible.

Especially if he has witnessed the indifferent, spineless character we have on many occasions this season.Isco may be an addition but he could also be the replacement.

Like i said though, there is every chance another manager could get more from Nasri,it would be a shame if we missed that opportunity.

Don't know why Nasri has been treated unfairly this season. He was a bit of a fanny for that rapists goal but other than that he's been injured, come back and built a bit of confidence up then injured again. Now he's had a run in the side in the past few months, he's performed well. He did last season, I thought he was brilliant yet people was still saying he wasn't good enough. Pretty sure he was like 4th in the assists charts in the prem.

I like him, we haven't seen the best of Nasri yet as well. Hopefully he keeps his promise and improves on his already steady city career.

Nasri Stats
Team goals per game (for/against) before Mancini criticism; 1.27/1.41 (48.3/53.7 for 38 game season)
Team goals per game (for/against) after Mancini criticism; 2.03/0.81 (77.1/30.8 for 38 game season)

The ‘after criticism’ numbers aren't as reliable because they only includes about 7 games worth of playing minutes, but it’s still a pretty dramatic turnaround – an approximately 60% increase in team goals scored and about the same percentage decrease in goals conceded.
