Got that on DVD. Brilliantly funny and chokingly emotional. Coogan and Bernard Hill are brilliant.

is there anyway to download it all online?
Found my DVD's of the two series last week and just watching them a few episodes a day. Brilliant series, but also glad it didn't go on TOO long and spoil it.
Giro Jim is a real character though, he drinks in the Crown in Heaton Moor (its all based around Heaton Norris and Reddish) and a lot of the stories about him are true! He really did order a chinese takeaway from the pub to be delivered to his house, then went into the chinese and got them to give him a lift home as they were driving to his house anyway with the order!
The coppers are apparently true characters too!

Can vouch for that.....the Crown is some mates local, and have seen him in there. Rum fecker....
