The funniest thing I ever heard him say was about bringing replay technology into football. When asked how it would work in terms of a manager wanting to get the refs attention that he wants a break in play, he said that the manager could put a bright orange balaclava on so that the ref could notice him! I'm glad he's been removed from radio, and I only hope no-one else is daft enough to pay him to bore the radio-listening public with his brand of 'humour' (if that is indeed what it turns out his radio show was supposed to be).
However I'm delighted to learn that the other pair of insufferable cunts are being shown up for the complete wastes of space that they so clearly are.
Strip away all the gadgets and high production values, and you're left with very little talent or substance whatsoever - its fitting that this fact has been highlighted before they are finally released to an afterlife of late night cable TV phone-in quiz programming, before shuffling off into senility once and for all.
It would be a shame if anyone harboured any misconceptions that either of them had any talent, or anything of worth to offer, so I must say I'm glad they've been given the opportunity to leave us with no doubt as to their limitations before their inevitable slide into obscurity and irrelevance.
