I'd like to see a badge with a Holland's steak pudding above the letters MCFC on a maroon & white background.

I think the old badge looks really dated, and the new badge is cheap and tacky, like Franny Lee paid a 15 year old to make it for a school art project.

When you analyse it, the current one is a puzzle. The bird means nowt, the latin motto is just nonsense and the crest doesn't even say the full name of the team it represents. And then with the 3 stars it actually asks more questions than says anything about the club.

The badge is deffo due an upgrade, even if it is just a re-hash of the red rose one.

I always wanted the old badge back but looking at it now, as much as it pains me to say it, it only reminds me of when we were shit. getting beat by the likes of stockport. players like Jamie pollock & Jason van blerk. board room unrest/terrace demonstrations, countless relegations and, dare I say it, playing at Maine road.

i look at the new badge now, and for me it symbolises the new city. a modern forward thinking successful club. winners of the fa cup, premier league, charity shield. players like tevez, silva, aguerro. a club with a new stadium with soon to be state of the art training facilities.

I'm all for remembering the past, but I'd rather look to the future. Keep the new badge.
