In the block where I'm at there are too many miserable gits refusing to do it. They only seem happy when they can shout at our players.

Bring it back nonetheless, it looked fantastic.
yep

Re: Bring back the Poznan

I think it should be reserved for the more special goals that mean more. I mean there are goals where the response is "Yes! get in!" like the goals against villa, doing the Poznan then seems sort of forced.
But when we score and we go beserk, like Zabaleta's against united or Dzeko's vs Spurs, that seems the best time to do it as it feels organic and more people will be up for it.

Re: Bring back the Poznan

any of you older school Blues out there remember 7,000+ City fans sitting down on the terraces at the Baseball Ground, last game of '79-'80 season. Not sure if it was a protest at a below par season or we were just bad on the day. It was a strange thing to do at the time thats for sure (better in summer than winter). Derby beat us 3-1 (who's that p*ff with the long blonde hair - Alan Biley scored ), and their fans came on the pitch for a big of aggro at the end. Plenty of Blues scaled the fence to take on the masses, and distincly remember one well known of member of the Moston Blues, attacking the Derby fans with his crutch, his other leg being in plaster, no one could get near him! Memories of the good /bad old days, depending on your preference.........

So, is that a yes or no for the Poznan?

Re: Bring back the Poznan

defo needs to be brought back.....we have all gone a little to serious this season and the fun from last year has become somewhat less.

Lets all do the Poznan : )

Re: Bring back the Poznan

Its funny as we grew and people need something to associate with City this happened and really did cement part of us in time. people will always remember the FA CUP games shaking Wembley
The game when we beat Spurs and qualified for CL the whole stadium bouncing and Assou Ekotto looking around thinking "what the fuck"
This celebration is us, it is the same bonkers shit we have done for years and with a confirmation on BBC it shows how far we have come
