all the diffrent surporters branches have their own uniqe flags and banners,i would love to see them all at wembley, and personal ones of course ,think it would be fantastic, turn wembley blue.

Amen Brother.

Memo to all the branches and branch members: *Bring your banners and/or flags*

Sorry to be a spoilsport. Gound regs:

- Flags more than 250cm in size at their widest or longest section will not be allowed and flagpoles greater than 1m in length will not allowed.

- Any articles that could potentially be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety are strictly prohibited.

- Permission must be sought in advance from the stadium and event owner to arrange use of the very large supporter flags that are designed to be passed over people's heads. In such cases the flag must be flame retardant and the organiser bringing the flag into the stadium will need to provide the appropriate H&S certification.

You can get a big enough banner in but be careful with anything you have to support it, bits of sticks must be under 1m long and if they are being arsey they could say they compromise public safety.

My '81 flag said something about Paul Power but can't remember what I put. 2 spuds twats ripped it off me on Empire Way on the way to the stadium and stamped all over it.

Tell me about. I'm scared of farting at the new Wembley.

They stopped me against Stoke, forced me to hold my flag up against a marking on the wall(what the f***!), and told me it was too big.(are you f***ing serious?) "I'm sorry, but it doesn't fit in between those lines." Anyway, eventually got it back and hung it over the tier where I was sat.

The funny thing was, when I entered the stadium the place was full of banners, City and Stoke, and much bigger than mine.

Just fold it up and walk in with it.

Great post.

I'd like to see hundreds of these at City games rather than just the odd ones every now and then.

Another great picture.

Thanks Caveman.

A few more positive posts like yours and this plea might even take off. :-)

-- Wed May 01, 2013 6:17 pm --

Lokeren.

To be fair, the FA Cup final was taken back by proper supporters two years ago, though I do take your point about banners. We'll do what we can

As for those regulations, a 250cm banner is a fuck-off great flag!
