who can remember away days when you had the option of sitting or standing, places where you would get an allocation of both, and an away seat was deemed i guess a luxery, and standing was obviously the cheaper option.

well i think it is time we introduced sitting at away games, i cannot think of anything dafter than paying 40 odd quid for a seat you never sit on, spending the whole game stood when in reallity sitting is far more comftable.

the culture of look at me, i'm an away fan, i have had a drink so i must stand and bollox to everyone else is pathetic.

Will never happen mate, to be a Uefa class stadium it needs to be all seated and I doubt the club will spend money changing some of the stadium to standing if it doesn't benefit them.

i am not arsed, standing on a open terrace, fenced in, stuck in a corner, looking through mesh and fencing deserves to stay in the 80's

football has changed, people want to take their kids, in fact the only minority who want to go back to standing are probably groups of lads, which is fair enough, but after the hooligans/disasters and deaths in the 80's will never happen.

the only thing i would like to see change in modern football is bigger away allocations at affordable prices.

Last week you were criticising the atmosphere at the Cup Final on the grounds that the working man had been priced out of football. You can't have it both ways

i never said anything about the working man, and where does it say you cannot have an atmosphere unless you are stood, and where did i say that seating has to price people out.

on the contrary i would sooner see bigger grounds, bigger away allocations, and affordable tickets for all.

seating enabled clubs to rip fans off, i just think it is laughable that folk have to pay 40 odd quid for a ticket, and at most away games do not even get the option of sitting on it due to the selfish actions of some.
