A routine win as I saw it. There was a serious debate going on between Fern and John at the end of the first half and it lasted almost to the ref's whistle. I am not sure if that was a precursor to their first goal. Fern was not happy with him at all. Zinchenko quietly established himself as the first-eleven player. Amazing actually.

John was in the fucking groove before that injury. It ain't easy getting it back.

He's been shite. No doubt about it. I don't understand what he was doing for that 2nd goal. He should be winning the header in the first phase, and the recovery was even worse. He then loses his spacial awareness when the cross comes in and is ball watching.

Needs to sort that shit out. We are getting to the business end here and trophies are handed out during this period.

Give hm a couple more games and he'll be back up to speed.

I've waited to see that damn shielding thing punished so very well done Bernardo and Sané pounced on the error nicely. Perfect counter from start to finish for the 2nd ending with a great KDB pass and fantastic touch and finish Agüero. Unfortunate Stones another bit of a mistake, think he's just a little rusty, confident he'll get back to his best. Could've done without conceding again but we got the last laugh with my motm Silva to Sané to a KDB tap-in. Pep's first final, go on City!
