Bristol City (Carabao Cup SF) Post Match Thread

Some of our fans don’t know how good we actually have it. No fan of an English side has ever enjoyed so many wins by this date in the history of football.

Some of our "fans" simply do not deserve the quality of this team.

Wembley it is then, should have buried them on the break very profligate, Stones looks as though he has been possessed by the ghost of Mangala, Kev fucking supreme

Spot on. Cup has probably been on their minds.

Thought we were good again, just not making the most of our domination in terms of goals. Just got to remember we are winning game after game during the hard winter months.

I’m sure the goals will start flowing again soon.

I don’t think the problem at the moment is attacking. We rarely score less than 2. Defending is certainly becoming an issue again.

Generally satisfied with that performance and no injuries.

Stones was a bit at sea but I think he is just working his way back after the injury, I am sure his form will improve.

Sad that I’ll just miss the final as I’ll be back in Manchester early March.

We could have scored more, they weren’t great but we made them look better.

Bit harsh. They were better - over both legs - than a lot of teams we've faced in the league.

I think the format helps out. In a cup game, you have to try and win. Most league sides don't realise we're built to disassemble parked busses, and act all surprised when we walk off with their wheels. In the cup however, teams have to go at it, and usually fair better against us for taking that approach.

It's no surprise to me that our only two loses have been against a team who HAD to win (Donetsk) and one who only really know how to play attacking football (ye olde scouse gits).

What pretend he's been ok on a forum, because we iike him ?
I just think some of you are watching a different game to us others and expect far far too much of certain players. He's a young lad who is making 'a few' mistakes. He's class and makes us tick even when he is off form a little. He'll get my support in the next home game to the hilt - just like Sterling did when the morons got on his back as well

Silva? Dinho? Kdb? Did you watch it?

No, no, and no
If they had been as good as you think, then all those 5 v 3 overlaps would have resulted in clear chances rather than players having to check their stride, because the pass had been too heavy or too slow. (the Aguero goal being the one exception from at least half a dozen opportunities)
