I know PWF will receive all the plaudits, but I thought Rico was outstanding, especially in the first half.

None of them was poor, but Rúben, Nathan and KdB were all great.

Foden, had a great game, lovely finish for the first goal. He was good both in attack and winning the ball back. Ake also had a good game throughout.

Foden followed by Ake. Other than that some fairly sloppy performances. Dias and Akanji letting high balls bounce and getting into a needless tangle with opponents, Phillips passing not good enough, Mahrez and Lewis as porous as a chicken wire dam 1st half down our right. Collectively, made an absolute meal of it in the 15 minutes before Foden killed the game off. Still, a win’s a win and good to get some sharpness into Phil’s legs
