winding down in life.
had their manager on talkshite this morning, when asked if any of their players would be moving in the window he was taken aback in my opinion and then spouted the usual "we'll have to see if we can hold on to them".
any way this got me thinking about lescott, i'm sure i saw a snippet somewhere that everton were after their centre back.
could be they are looking for a replacement, moyes did after all pull a masterstoke taking on a championship player when buying lescott.

just a thought.

Yep i agree mate, can you imagine all the stuff thats going on behind clubs closed doors this month.

think that 15mil would be a tad ott for lescott however if we ended up getting him for about 12mil i would say it was decent business.

If David Moyse rates the Bristol City centre half so highly, maybe we should bid for him...who the fock is he anyway?

While I would agree on your valuation, City simply haven't got the time or the squad to haggle over 3mil when it comes to a proven decent Premier League player.

Lescott is exactly the sort of player I wouldn't mind slightly over-paying for: he's young, very good, and can play in two positions that need strengthening.
