Wow BlueMoon, deleting my post earlier because I tied in family connections with the Taliban. Cutting close to the truth was I.

Well think of this, HOW would a 5 yr old boy know the number of his fathers phone-number (considering nothing else was taken in the robbery), unless it was family members working alongside Taliban militia wanting to gain financial support via blackmail from the UK/Pakistani Governments.

...Think about it.

reading the article it says they were 'robbers' and they stole 'cash and jewellery'. The father also says they, "took everything off us, everything in our house.'

A BBC article ststes that some arrest have been made by tracing calls from mobiles 'stolen from the house' and the family are still waiting to be contacted.

No mention i can find of the kid 'remebering' a phone number.

Used to live off Broad Lane, first on left after the motorway bridge coming from Shaw. I know The Orchards. Never once went in The Pineapple in 7 years!

My son could remember our phone numbers at five. If you have kids you get them to recall address, numbers etc.

I'll reserve judgement on this but seeing the mother I'd guess she isn't in on anything. Hope he's safe and well.
