British & Irish Lions 2025

Enjoyed that, Curry great again. Got to laugh at the media shit show regarding the Lions winning try LMFAO. But have the Aussies made any comment regarding their second try when the ref bless him basically obstructs the Lions defence, guess not.

I thought we were the whingers??

Well I'll say it "fucking shit"
First off, well done to the Lions, they were up against a poor Aussie side but a series win is a series win.
Beirne voted player of the series, well deserved as he was brilliant, such a wonderful player.
It's all been a bit insipid though, both sides were poor imitations of previous sides, the build up games are a complete and utter waste of time as the Lions are playing against their 2nds & thus the tour never quite got going.
Farrell quite obviously had certain players in his test side from the beginning, irrespective of whether other players were showing better form on tour & the backline never quite clicked for any length of time.
Also, i want to see the pics of Tuipulotu on crutches to justify an obviously finished Bundee Aki getting picked over him.
Aussie tours for the Lions are always the easiest to win, the NZ and South Africa tours are always better & far more difficult.
A 6/10 tour for me

The whole series was very underwhelming.

There wasn’t much to be excited about with the Lions squad, Farrell is a known quantity and doesn’t play super fun rugby, Australian rugby is circling the drain with AFL and NRL taking all the best kids and fans.

Australia were awful in game 1, to the point where the Lions never got out of third gear. Game 2 was obviously the pick of the bunch but basically showed us what could have been if some key Aussies weren’t injured. And game 3 was ruined by the weather.

All in all a tour that won’t be remembered much IMO.

I’d love to know what the viewing figures are compared to 4 years ago, feels like this was a bad tour in terms of public awareness and engagement too.

Would appear Australia used the Lions tour as warm up games prior to South Africa ;-)
A fine win and at altitude.
Weird game though, SA were well on top & suddenly stopped playing, maybe thinking it was going to be easy. It then turned into a game of basketball with everything, bounces and stray passes suddenly going the Aussies way & the South Africans not being able to step it up again.
Lets see if next weeks game in Cape Town goes the same way, i have the feeling it'll be very different ha.
Still a bloody good win for the Aussies though

I only had 20 mins of highlights and it seemed as you say. But a win in SA is not to be sniffed at. Who was that SA centre he was bigger than prime Mal Maninga ?
