British Open (Golf)

anyone else agree that watching the world's best golfers floundering about in the wind and rain is not very good viewing?

How many make the cut in The Open?

Is it something like, within 8 of the leader or the first 60, depending on which is the largest?

Can't seem to find this anywhere.

It's something like first seventy and ties or all within ten shots of the leader.

it's those tied for 60th actually

I put £20 on Vijay at 40-1 e/w..... What a good bet that turned out to be.

Also went the same on Goosen at 35-1 so heres hoping!!!

Agreed!

There have been one or two good scores today but it still looks very tricky. I think they moved five tee positions forward yesterday but perhaps they should have done more.

The weather is supposed to get worse as the day goes on and then more of the same tomorrow. Sunday it is supposed to start clearing.

Level par could win!

can't be a fair or true test of golf when no-one get under par and the likes of

Jiminez +15

Cabrera +14

Els +10

Singh +10

Mickelson +9

Campbell +9

Casey +8

are hacking round like I do at Heaton Park?

I see some Columbian has just shot a 65!!!

he must have been on the white stuff?
