In oddbobs overalls.
I tend to use these approximately 4/5 times a year. I have never had a bad experience and the crew are also very helpful and courteous. Food is very good and beer is no more expensive for a pint than my local in the UK. I find it a more pleasing and relaxing way to travel if you have a little more time on your hands. Any bluemooners use them.

I used them the first year I think they operated, if it was the first year. They used to do holiday packages. I've sailed with them a number of times. I tend to go channel tunnel these days, but BF always were a good show!

Never used the tunnel only because if I am driving down to Spain I like the Atlantic coast route. Or I go from Northern Spain with a relaxing sleepover. No catching of colds and sneezing being stuck in an aircraft.
Sorry Jim cannot supply with photographs of said starlet

I use Brittany ferries every year going to my Breton gaffe.
I am a member of the travellers club getting 10% off all travel, free daytime cabins and free breakfasts.
Anyone booking through me gets 10% off too.
Service is good but because they have no competition they are a bit pricey.

Great way to do the long crossings to France with a good meal, drink and a kip. Tbh I tend to do the short shitty dover to Calais and do a b&b with a longer drive that end. Not as nice but much cheaper.

Expensive but good and posh cabins are great with a continental brekkie thrown in for good measure. We go every year to Tregastel in Brittany and do an overnight crossing, and at less than £4 for a pint of Guinness a couple of those before bed go down a treat. Duty free is pretty good too.

Best port I've gone from is Portsmouth.

Anybody have experience of taking a dog on the ferry to France?
We normally go Plymouth to roscoff overnight but now we have a dog and the wife wants to bring the thing with us on our holiday this year.
