I'm still pissing myself at the thousands who voted Lib Dem to keep the Tories out.
What gives you the impression that people voted Lib Dem to keep the tories out?

This sort of lazy statement needs to be challenged. There were probably people who did that, where the LD's were the closest challengers to the Cons but there were also people who did the same to keep Labour out. I suspect a lot would have liked to vote Lib Dem but voted tactically for Conservative or Labour as the LibDems were the third party in the constituency.terryphelan said:It's fucking funny -

Not going to happen. He isn't 'spivvy' articulate enough. The future is characters like Clegg and Cameron, vacuous but come over with a nice bedside manner. Andy Burnham too often looks like a 'rabbit in the headlights' on Newsnight for me. As does Cruddas.mackenzie said:denislawsbackheel said:David Milliband the best in the Labour Party?
He isn't even the best in the Milliband family.
He is also another creature of Mandelson.
At this moment I would say Andy Burnham.

So there were at least as many people, if not more, who actually got something close to what they wanted, even if ti was via a roundabout route.

Worst of all, I won't be able to gaze at the lovely Kay Burley, in her fantastic variety of coloured coats, in my lunch hour. Ah well, it was nice while it lasted.
