This looks like case where club is determined not to lose a top talent after Mbappe. He plays at a position which we don't have in XI however we are willowi to give a shot.Club doesnt want him to end up at Rags or Dippers
Hmm maybe, but Mbappe was younger, a striker and had a great CL campaign. Don’t think he’s what we need but again, happy to be proven wrong.

Anyway, I’ve derailed this thread enough. Bruno looks good, great numbers and rumoured to have a 35mil Euro release clause as long as Sporting don’t pay the 5mil economic rights. Get it done.

Buzzing if we get him, but you do have to wonder where this leaves Foden next season. No doubt in the long term picture, but another 25 year old signing in CM is blocking his path, regardless of what people say.

I think Gundogan has to be the one to make way, otherwise Foden is looking at a 28, 27, 25 and 24 year old ahead of him in the pecking order. Obviously there are variables such as Bernardo being viewed predominantly on the RW and KDB's injury issues, but I struggle to see how his game time picks up considerably next season like Pep said it would.

Selling Mahrez or Sane and Bernardo becoming a permanent fixture on the RW could make it work.

Pep was very vocal on the fact that Foden isn't going anywhere on loan, so there is clearly going to be a plan, just struggling to work it out at the moment!

Selling Gundogan, bringing Fernandes in, loaning Foden out for a season, giving Dave his final season and then bringing Foden back would make the most sense to me.

Gundogan will go and sounds like there is a high chance that David Silva goes this summer as well. Sounds like he has asked the club so he can go to Japan and I would imagine the club won’t stand in his way due to his amazing service and loyalty. That would allow foden more game time as well.

Eras end and David will go with the blessings of every City fan worldwide. I imagine Bernardo will put a good word in about the club to anyone who asks. His career is blossoming with us and he has immersed himself in the club, becoming a huge favourite and the heir to David's greatness.

What's all this about?

I guess this signing covers anymore injuries to KDB & will see the end of Gundagun.

Phil will be Dave's reacement after next season.
Felix is the funny one, maybe it's a nudge for Leroy to get his contract signed???
Rodri will be next in line as the Felix deal will go over the whole Summer...
