Looked very average for Portugal. Has decent delivery from set pieces, but he is not nearly worth the prices being talked about.

Thought Neves and Cavarllho were very immobile today. Gave Swiss far too much room. Luckily for them though the Swiss lack real quality in the final third.

Why is that, because you've seen him in one game?

Mbappe was dreadful v Man Utd in Paris, he must be shit then as well, yeah?

What are you talking about?
At no point did I say he was awful. He was merely average. He didn’t look out of place, in a good or bad way. I have not once watched Mbappé and thought that he wasn’t a supremely talented player. Nobody can be at their best every game, but the talented players worth their hefty price tags nearly always show one or two moments of quality during 90 minutes. He seems extortionately overpriced.

In one of the world cup games last year, De Bruyne looked like a very average player.

That's football. You can't be at your best in every game. As for Mbappe v Man Utd, if that was my first time watching him, I would of said he was very average as well and not worth more than 30m.

Good job I don't judge off one game then, isn't it?
 
Heard we were very, very close to getting this done when it kicked off a few weeks back. Really close. Then they suddenly massively upped the price and we backed out. Ah well.
