They haveIf this bloke is any good why hasn’t the big clubs gone in for him ??
They have absolutely no system or coaching in how to attack established defences. They will be better with better individuals but they wont ever crack the top 2 until they actually get a manager and a dof that isn't remarkably underqualifiedProblem they have had forbthe last few years is that their defence is so gosh darn sh*te that any manager worth his salt has realised the midfield have to commit to helping defend them, resulting in many other
talented midfielders (Sanchez, Di Maria, Mata and...every now and then Pogba when he can be bothered to put the effort in) having their strengths negated in addition to them getting fed up with it and jacking in the Maximum Effort required to win in the Prem.
It's actually not that bad. €55m is the base fee then the add ons are €5m for reaching 25 starts, €5m for United reaching the Champions League once in the next five seasons, then €5m each time he wins PFA POTY or finishes top 3 in ballon d'or (up to €15m). So it's really €60m, and they'd be very happy with paying any more than that.80 million fucking euros ? So that's Di Maria, Pogba, Lukaku and Fernandes all of whom cost more than any player City have ever signed ?
Yeah but I bet he's the highest paid Portuguese player in Manchester /Trafford.£67M and not even the best Portuguese player in Manchester
What have they spent on midfielders now?£67M and not even the best Portuguese player in Manchester
It’s not £67m unless he wins three POTY awards. It’s very likely €60m or €65m depending on if they make the CL.£67M and not even the best Portuguese player in Manchester
£67M and not even the best Portuguese player in Manchester
£50.5m
Good player, decent price, won't fix all their problems but will help them grab a few undeserved results.
If they grab a couple more like that they might actually get some deserved results, which isn't ideal. Good signing. Just hope the modern United factor comes into play and ruins him a bit.
