Bryan Wilson Middleton Blue RIP

Spurs away when we bumped into Burnley on the way home was eventful
I remember him on a mini bus to QPR when we played them in the league a few days after we’d played in the League Cup. I tried speed for the first time the night before in The Venue and had been up all night. That was a loooooong day.

I first met Bryan on the pre season tour to Italy in 1992. He was on our coach trip from Chadderton. He was great fun to be with, liked a pint and a good laugh. Not seen him that often as I also became ill just over 10yrs ago, but whenever we bumped into each other at games, we would always reminisce about that trip.
Here’s a picture of Bryan 33yrs ago at Verona’s stadium (2-2) in the purple shirt holding a fag, next to me (in Blue). RIP Bryan, a good lad indeed. X
I was on that trip! I'm just off that picture sat next to Denise Adams on the far right!
R.I.P. Blue

RIP Brian. Sounds like he was well loved and thought of. Condolences to his friends and family. Life can be so cruel at times.

That's a brilliant evocative photo

33 years ago and sadly none of us are getting any younger
33 years the other way and we're still in the 1950s with Trautmann in goal and the Berlin Wall not even constructed.

Seems like only yesterday mate. Shows how quickly age catches up with us.
