BT Connection ???

right im planning on getting the internet i have a phone line but i dont think its connected how much would it cost for bt to connect it?
i dont work atm due to illness so would i be able to get any offers or ne thing?

Unsure of the price but what i do know is that BT will normally charge you the earth to connect anything ........ look in the Manchester Evening news , or your local paper .... you can find ex-BT engineers offering much cheaper work in there.

I think its a straight £50 call out fee last time i enquired which was last year.

Or free reconnection (12.50 p/month line rental) and 24.60 a month for unlimited wireless broadband.

Moving on saturday to an apartment without a phone line. We've choosen to pay for the line then we're going with Virgin.

if you ring up and say that you want 'an 18 months contract WITH FREE INSUTLATION' you have to say free insutlation as they cant advertise it unless you ask them. i think its about 18pounds something a month or that maybe cause i have free local calls and 0845 numbers.....

then get O2 internet online bill ect......

its cheap and worth it... just dont get there internet
