It's interesting as Discovery group own the UK TV rights for the Olympics.

Yep, and their coverage was shite. I remember watching a few events and the commentators clearly didn't have a clue, because they didn't bother hiring a single co-commentator that had any expertise in the sport. Exactly the opposite of what you want when you're watching a sport for the first time.
