BT Sport

Does it bother you that it bothers me or not?

My point initially was concerning non attendees who then come on here spouting total crap.

It's getting more and more. Soon no fucker will go to the game but they will all be on here either slagging pundits or worse which seems the case nowadays the players. Without ever contributing.

I posted on the way to work out of boredom and in response to a thread that woke me up a little.

Now you have bored me even more.
With respect you have no idea why people can't get to games, our contribution on here is just as valid not least because we have seen all the replays and know whether there is something to moan about or not.Slagging players is not my thing and i expect we would agree less of that would be very welcome

There were a huge number who did not attend last night for whatever reason. For many, obviously not all, the reason is lack of commitment otherwise known as Can't Be Arsed Syndrome.

It seems that slagging off of players manager and even fans might be as a direct or indirect result of listening to rag pundits giving their own anti City views for a couple of hours.

Seems a few people would rather slag off blues than read the likes of Ferdinand, Scholes etc get criticised for doing their job badly.

Peoples choice whether they attend or not. I didnt, and couldnt have done so even if I wanted to.

If I went I would still expect a fair, balanced TV coverage. I don't think thats too much to ask.

And anyone that goes to games would find the idea that people are slagging off our players because they don't attend and listen to rag commentators laughable.

The pundits have their own agenda especially wio, scholes and hoddle, the abuse they get is warranted as they don't hide their colours and what they say is actually factually incorrect which gets peoples backs up
Whatever the reason people don't go it's their business and blues moaning at fellow blues is not on for me,some are worried about the attendance because of what the media say and i think that is a nonsense too

I didn't go as I couldn't be arsed. I don't think the players are putting anything out there right now that enthuses the fans, well me anyway! They're playing dire football, and the Kiev game was always going to be shite. I reserve my right to show my disdain by simply not attending. I spent enough time and money watching them when I expected them to be shite, but enough's enough.

Fair enough in my book, each to their own

i refuse to got to night matches anymore , the traffic issues are ridiculous , ive missed the last three kick off times despite allowing over three hours to travel the fifty miles to a home game , weekend end games are fine , i can allow more time , and make a day of it , But ive done 50 years supporting this lot and over a 1000 games , so i feel qualified to comment on the ups and many downs of our club , but i also respect a poster from another continent who doesnt know where Manchester is , they are enititled to an opinion , (although i do beleive if you attended York away , you should be held in the highest esteem) . The disappointing aspect for our armchair fans , some of them do tend to believe some of the absolute shite pundits waffle about our club ,they should just form their own opinion and dont believe the hype , we should know Wio and the Ginger Pig are not capable of a reasoned opinion about our club

i reckon the pundits are told to conform to the addenda of the station or paper and that many are selected because of their known bias. Martians landing on Earth and tuning in to the UK media must wonder what City have done to be hated even by neutrals. I don't know whether Bell's 50 years was even featured on TV at all last night but I can bet that if it was it was very low key and far less than what would have happened with someone down the road.

Those who do not go to matches, leave early etc just give the media and fans of other teams an easy stick with which to beat City fans and telling them it's not their business doesn't quite work. It will be my business if these stay-aways get to the front of the queue if we do get further. Unfortunately it is likely they will have the points in their collections without even going last night.

If a stay away gets a ticket through the usual means it will be because they have earned their loyalty points over years and decades, not just one R16 game.

Can't see the problem with that really.

But most are not, they are commenting on the pundits and not the game.

Still my point stands, get to the game.
Yeah because everyone can go to every game can't they. This is a thread about BT Sport and if you're a super-fan, like you obviously are, and go to every game then you'll never watch it and therefore have no business commenting on other people commenting on the quality of their coverage.

Personally I'm incredibly disappointed in it. Too many pundits (five, six or more per game between the commentary box and the studio) same old faces, no substance to their opinions.
