Deary me, the internet lynch mob is it in full force. Probably innocent lads all over Britain about to get a kicking because of some internet pubes making up names and publishing them.

Also, is it just me or is wanting to kill kids who kill kids a little bit pointless?

What happens next, people who kill people who kill kids who kill kids?

Where does the abject banality and small mindedness stop?

This is our society. We created it. All of it. Killers included.

You want to change the world, try changing yourself first before looking further a field.

Sorry, but we didn't 'create' two little shits to go out and murder a defenceless and very much helpless little boy, leaving him gasping for breath on train track, only to be finished off by a train. Eye for an eye should be allowed in the most extreme of cases, and in the case of young Bulger, it doesn't get any more extreme. Likewise those animals on the 'shocking video' thread, the ones from the Ukraine, they too should be put to death as there is no purpose in keeping them alive. There is no purpose keeping Whiting alive, Huntley alive and the like, all it does is cost money and give the families of those involved many sleepless nights. The death penalty, in total extreme circumstances like this where the accused has no chance of seeing day light again, should be brought back.

Somebody who I have come in contact with today knows what this lad is now called and could easily pass on the info as they mentioned it to me this morning, I'm sure they could let the people that need be know to ensure a warm welcome in prison. ( trying to be as vague as possible!)

So you're happy to take credit for the great things our society has created but you're not going to be held responsible for the bad?

That makes you a bad citizen in my eyes and it's thanks to the neglect of the selfish consumers that children are growing up all fucked up.

Obviously it's easier to blame it on naughty videos, rude computer games and abstractions such as 'evil' though.

Your arguments are sound, but I think those of us who oppose the death penalty are 100% immovable in our conviction that it is wrong. IMO the aforementioned monsters should live in hellish conditions without parole for the rest of their NATURAL lives. Even though they might plead to be released from their sentence, I would not permit it - as killing them would be a merciful act they do not deserve.

Nope, you're just a guy who likes to talk the talk but wont walk the walk. You want a better world? Go and make one instead of advocating the killing the children on an internet forum. Sorry to be harsh mate but people like you like to talk sentencing and killing but when shit goes down where are you?

As for people printing names and shit, bang out of order and you can guarantee that at least one innocent lad will be kicked into a coma by morons.

If we had prisons where you knew conditions were hellish, I would fully agree with you, but the reports of playstations, facebook, phones and 3 nice meals a day suggest prison, other than being able to walk down to the corner shop, is no different to being at home in many cases. For me hellish conditions mean no segregation or protection, a shared toilet, a cell which houses 4, and a small cell at that, 3 very basic meals a day, no visitor rights, no phonecall rights, nothing other than the most miserable life possible, always with the threat of a raping, a beating and a good fucking hiding.....if that was promised for the most EXTREME, (Mighty Quinn), cases, well then I would rather see them live like that than be put to death too.

Where am I?!!! What kind of playground talk is that? Tell me, exactly, what am i supposed to do other than air my views, given my lack of employment within the government or legal/prison system?

If prison is so soft then why don't you go out now and do a bank job, sort yourself out financially for life and you'll only serve a few years in a holiday like prison. Makes sense to me. Except, you know, deep down that prison is far from a nice place. I've visited several and they're fucking horrible places.

i don't agree with everything that has been posted. but what i do believe is posting details on a web forum of hearsay in such a sensitive subject is pretty silly. well no, it's fucking abhorrent.

Prisons with a fucking sauna, clad with beautiful women would be hell for me, because i am a law abiding citizen with a family and kids, a normal hard working person who knows crime is wrong. That is the difference. People, or the majority of them anyway, who commit crimes know full well that in the even they are caught and sent down, they are not in for a rough ride if they know the right people or can handle themselves. its too cushy, way too cushy and i'm not the only one to think that. I know a few people who have done time, one of which on the last time he went down was cool as a cucumber about it and said, (patting his belly), 'could do with working out a bit'. 6 months later he reappears buff as fuck, ready to recommit. Tell me that is a justice system which works.

No, not at all. Prisons are much too soft. Ironically, the only ones likely to be intimidated are the first-time offenders, or the wrongly convicted. The hard nosed, institutionalised ones can find it harder to re-adjust to life on the outside, after ruling the roost in these places. If life were made hellish and MEANT life, I think we could persuade most of those who now call for the death sentence.

We live in a capitalist society. It's dog eat dog. Crime is not just big business but also an essential part of a lot of peoples daily lives. We're all criminals in some respect.

I'm not disagreeing with you for the sake of it although I do agree that prison doesn't work, it doesn't rehabilitate, so something else is needed but I'm fucked if I know the answers although I am opposed to the death penalty.

The fact that dick heads like it in prison says more about them than prison to be honest.

You can only hope that evolution slowly weeds the nob heads out and one day humanity can prosper.

I got the text 10 minutes ago, claiming his name and location. A quick search on Google says that **** ****** in the town of ********* has been living in fear in because of rumours that he's Jon Venables.

I only post the link in an attempt to curb the chances of some innocent guy getting lynched:

The trouble with these vigilante lynch mobs is they can be spurred on by irresponsible journalism, like when Sun readers beat up a paediatrician.

At least we agree on prisons not working. As I said above to another poster, I would be in agreement with the death penalty never coming back if I knew that monstors like these 2 and the Roy Whitings of this world were in such hellish, miserable conditions they wished they could have that death sentence as a way out. To me if you do what these kind of people do, you have a very hard time of it inside, but the fact is they don't, they get the same treatment as a car thief or a bank robber and whilst I am not condoning those 'lesser' crimes, they are lesser in terms of the actual crime itself and so prison, for me should be put into categories based on the crime. Some old dear refusing council tax then, as has happened before, should expect the finest treatment whilst serving their time. Someone in for the first time for knocking someone out on the piss should be put with people of the same ilk, thus to lessen their chances of a beating or being intimidated. Robbers should be put together too. Anyone who commits a murder, no matter how brutal it is or not, should all be housed together to just get on with what it is they want to do to each other and should have no privileges whatsoever. Those who rape and kill kids, they should also be put with those murderers because one byone, they will make their time inside unbearable. Of course that can never happen, but you said before for me to get out there and do something about it....this is what I would do if I could.

Exactly mate. I'm counting my blessing that I don't resemble this lad one bit, because we all know that anyone who does will be getting their houses torched by the baying masses.

People who go out and kill for fun, which is seems venables did, should be given the death penalty. What good is he alive if he wants to takes someone's life purposely. After his quick spell In prison he could have killed any other innocent person. People would think again about going out to kill if they knew they would be killed, it can only happen when the judge is 110% the killer, but the monsters deserve it

Basically any 27 year old with a hint of a scouse accent or who acts a bit odd is now at the mercy of a mob.

I'm 27 years old, so could be in that bracket. But I beckon so much media attention it couldn't be me!

i'm with pigeonho, and yes TMQ, i would walk the walk! i would absolutley love to be the one to flick the switch/push the needle/make them swing or take the shot. No not an internet hero, or a keyboard warrior, i'm just appalled that the likes of whiting, black, huntley et al are never going to be able to contribute to society again, so why keep them alive? The average cost to keep someone in prison in 2008/2009 was £31,106 for a year! Think about the MILLIONS of pounds a year it could free up, for genuine rehabilitation and detecting crime against the most vulnerable members of society, not forgetting all those freed up prison beds, for more of those who deserve it.

An example is roy whiting, that animal is 51. if he lives another 20 years, that's a cost of £600,000 plus. times that by how many of these animals you can think of, amazing isn't it?

so to conclude over half a million pounds per animal, plus all the consumed time of professionals, against eighty quids worth of chemicals, to rid the earth of this vile scum.
