I did karate for a number of years and achieved my 1st kyu, brown belt (which is one away from black) at the age of just 8 years old, being one of the youngest achievers of this in my region and competed in the nationals, and was always taught this!
but what if your in the situation where the person you luckily knocked down is actually a mental fruitcake who's 10x harder than you, you really going to stand there looking super cool waiting for him to come back up ?
And therein lies the problem.
The chav who got decked will think he has been "dissed" (despite him being the tw@t, its how these people think...) he will almost certainly have been back , and being the brave stalwart he is will have either trashed the fellas bike, shit thru his letter box, put his windows in, set fire to something or, with six of his mates, jumped the poor sod when he wasnt looking and kicked the living shit out of him. This will carry on until such a time he feels he has his "respect" back, or someone gets badly hurt/arrested/evicted from the estate.
I have a feelin the poor biker fella will have to move before long...
