Buried or Cremated

1 of my mates passed away there a little bit over a week ago. They had to hold his body for 6 days doing tests on him for a week. Body only got released yesterday and brought to the church last night. Today he was buried. If it was me it would be simple cremated take all the organs thats working and then cremate me. Each to there own but the costs just to get buried is crazy. I think more and more people will get cremated in the future.

My family have a plot in the highlands where for the last few generations all our family members have been buried. Probably the most peaceful place I know.

cremated.

The thought of waking up in a coffin after being buried freaks me out.

I remember reading when they exumed some coffins, buried from before they knew about coma's and found scratch marks on the inside, where people had woken up and tried to get out.

Sack that shit....... I'm not taking any chances!!

At least if for some inexplicable reason I woke up during the cremation...... at least it wouldn't last for long

Some of my gardening contracts are to maintain graves. Very sad that people dont have the time to look after graves, and the council do an awful job. And in 100 years time you wont have Nyone who knew you too keep that headstone clean of algae, and most likely your 'peaceful final resting place' will be the foundations of a block of apartments (or jetpack refuelling stations).

Not what I want.

After the organ donation people, researchers, whatever, have taken what bits they want, I want to be cremated and the ashes put into fireworks. The fireworks will be let off on a particular day, in a specified place with all my family watching. I want the cheapest coffin money can buy and no bloody church funeral.

I always opted for burial, but as I get older cremation seems much tidier.
Am still undecided though.
