Burnley (A) Post Match Thread

Just finished my second Laphroaig whisky since the final whistle...feel so so so much better now. I think one more would be fitting to celebrate such a crucial win...everyone have a great night!!!.

I don't drink whisky but when I went on holiday to Skye I tried several, and Laphroaig was my favourite. An excellent nerve-settler

been saying for a while and I am sad about it but Sane is not happy and looks like he will be gone.

got there in the end lads, phew

just need the Geordie boys to take a couple of point off the tossers and Monday week will be great

Great result, not keen on the change in approach to give the ball away in injury time, but we won.

Everyone saying it is ours to lose still though, but to twist it a little... If Liverpool fail to win both of their remaining games then we only need to win one of our two remaining games, barring a huge shift in goal difference.

Between Serg, Bernado MOTM for me.

Sergio is now pushing his limits in working for the team on and off the ball, whilst remaining every bit as deadly as ever.

Bernado, phew. Has the ability to tie up two men all day long, has the most ridiculous ball retention, ability to dribble into the box, and would get into most premier league midfield just through his workrate and ability to win the ball back.

Otherwise, Kompany and Walker shone, with Silva not far behind.

Nearly a decade on, Sergio, Vinny, and David, remain pivotal as we push for another title.

PEP The pitch was so dry and it was so difficult to move the ball quickly. But in the second half we increased our desire to win – quite similar to the game at Old Trafford – and three more points. Two games left. It was an important victory for us.
