He started by saying that it was 'incidental contact' in making the challenge, then realised what he'd said before changing to 'well there was contact, but the VAR official obviously (subjectively) decided it wasn't a 'clear and obvious error'.

He wasn't great but he was OK.

Well that looked easy. But I thought the whole team worked really really hard for that win. A kinda job done of a performance. Picking man of the match was hard any of the midfield I think could get it. Only two irritants,Sterling was driving me crazy with his poor control and first touch, something mahrez gets right. And Really annoyed that VAR didn’t give what was a totally obvious penalty, ridiculous. What is the point if they don’t pick up obvious errors.
Anyway nice momentum for the trip to Liverpool and hopefully another three points.
