Think some of the self-designated big blues on here who have this holier than thou attitude about slagging off players and think the club can do no wrong probably haven’t been to a game in years
Well my first season ticket was in 1976 and been going ever since an I don’t see the need to continually slag off the same players(maybe Jamie Pollock). It’s not constructive criticism to say a player such as Gundogan has been wank for 3 years when he played a pretty crucial part in us winning the title only 2 years ago.

Would you say it was constructive criticism to say we as a team and he as an individual didn`t play well in a double pivot.

Because sure as eggs are eggs, the version of Ilkay Gundogan we now have and the team we now have, not only look better on the eye but are performing better.

Not that matters but while we are waving cocks about my 1st match was in 1957

Well done. Oh and Gundogan played 30 games for the centurions and over 30 for the fourmidables so he was probably not wank imo

My concern is that despite the results we are slowly regressing to that slow slow build up from the back. 20 meaningless passes whilst the opponent builds a defensive wall . Sometimes 20 minutes of no engagement goes by. It’s ok if a bit dull at times but it’s a risky strategy.

That happened against Sheffield United because they're a lifeless, soulless team who suck the joy out of the game. Before that our league results were 5-0, 2-0 and 4-0, I think our attacking play is as good as it's been in a long time.

(operation keep united in the title race at all cost) was in full swing last night ? tonight could be another big game for united and the officials and am fearing the worst ? all it takes is a dive in the box by a burnley player or a missed time tackle or just a soft but good tackle made to look bad on VAR

last night must wake up to city and liverpool to the fact they are not letting united slip in the title race and they can work their magic on other games that will give them points in the bank

Burnley seem to have hit some form lately which is par the course for most teams when we play them. As always it's all about the three points let's hope like the West Brom we can get them wrapped up early and save my stress.

Does anyone else think we may have seen the last of Sergio? I hope not but he's been injured for almost a year now even if you take covid out of the equation. Why does Pep think it will be a few weeks yet now he's covid free?

Because he wont have trained for ages?

Thanks, well done to you for getting a ticket in our glory years.

Feel free to point out where I said he was wank.

In fact I`d say when he first came to the club I supported him even though he struggled and was extremely timid on the pitch. While some were calling him out on it I said the 2 career threatening injuries were a major factor in the Gundogan we got from Dortmund. He, Gundogan even expressed the concern he himself had, that he wasn`t and never would be the player he had been before the injuries.

Thankfully this new role he has further forward has allowed us to see the Gundogan we thought we were buying.

The rags would be their dream ticket for the brand this season. I'm sure they want a three way battle between us, the rags and dippers with the rags winning. No argument with the red card last night it was a ridiculously challenge, anyone checked that lads past history yet lol? Oliver getting the dipper game is taking the piss after last season.

They had one shot against Chelsea in their last match and that was in the dying minutes. So I reckon they are saving themselves for tonight.

They looked half decent against Villa, I'm not sure why they were so timid against Chelsea.

every time i have seen the rags play this season they have been poor ? so direct and clueless to a point and the defence shocking. then something will happen and the officials and VAR take over ? its like a 6 year old playing FIFA on a PS5 only for his dad to take over because he is struggling

Potential banana skin this, I think it will be similar to Saturday. If we can get the win it sets up nicely for the next more difficult run of games.

Huge game tonight, win tonight and then against the dippers on Sunday and there is no way they are coming back to threaten us. That just leaves the Rags and I can't see them mounting a serious challenge to us.

I think Foden will be rested tonight ready for the dippers.

They were slagging off Gundogan because he’d been utter wank for 3 years.

He’s had a brilliant 3 months and is rightly getting plaudits for it.

Mahrez has been wank for the best part of 18 months. If he bucks his ideas up, he’ll get the plaudits too, if he deserves them.
Was he fuck utter wank for 3 years and nor is Mahrez “utter wank”. Pep knows it, most City fans know it, but I accept you don’t, but maybe that’s coz you are a gobby spoiled “utter wanker”.
I will tell you something else that is utter wank, which is my IT skills, but assuming I searched the right place I got Mahrez’s goals and stats for the last 3 seasons as (per 90 mins)

20/21. 0.66
19/20. 0.93
18/19. 0.74

For someone who is in and out of the team and doesn’t take pens (I accept there’s a reason for that) I would have thought that was pretty fucking good, rather than “utter wank”. Then again what do I know, and what does City’s best ever manager know, cos you know better

Sheff Utd game was certainly that way. Thank god for the early goal.
