Harsh on zinchenko who has been excellent but it makes sense to bring in laporte at left back, his height is a big plus, a back 3 of dias stones and laporte with cancelo roaming in midfield seems optimal and its very likely going to be our best option against the dippers weekend so giving it a trial run here is helpful. No issue with sterling and mahrez coming in, the squad needs to be utilised and it's a chance to play themselves into some form, particularly sterling. Torres and Foden waiting in the wings if they don't perform.

Don't like sterling as captain, one of the CB's or Gundogan surely?

Good team.

I like the idea of playing Laporte at left-back for two reasons
1. It adds more height to our defence, especially over Zinc.
2. It allows Len/Kyle to move into midfield.

Good squad rotation too.

I really want to say you need to get laid but i dont think it would be taken well

oh dear. Not sure where that came from but perhaps you think it enhances your reputation & makes you look cool.

You’ve nothing left to defend your stance with so - true to form (as with your treatment of our players) - you resort to offensive comments.

Sad really & I could retort with - it’s maybe what’s missing in your life, not mine.

keep on laughing at & abusing City players if you’ve nothing better to do.

You didnt read well last night or have any sense of humour !

Why oh why is Sterling captain? Nothing to do with his team performances but as long as I’ve got a hole in my backside he will never be a captain. What is it that Pep sees in him? Should without doubt be Dias.

From the Guardian....

Preamble

Manchester City’s last seven results against Burnley: 5-0, 3-0, 5-0, 4-1, 1-0, 5-0, 5-0. Given that Manchester United threw the title gauntlet down in some style last night, battering nine goals past Southampton, the Clarets can be forgiven for being wary ahead of this one, with City presumably preparing some sort of response.

For fuck sake!
