Three full backs on the bench is a bit of overkill.
I can only think he's relying on Cancelo to get forward more and play through the middleKnowing that Wood and Barnes were out, I actually think Zinchenko was the better choice at left back as neither Vydra nor Rodriguez are going to bully Zinchenko at the back post. Plus, his passing in the build up phase is better than Laporte’s. If Laporte is there to counter Burnley’s giants, that’s weird as they are not there! But it’s still a very nice team regardless and Zinchenko is always there on the bench if we are struggling with the build up in any way. Come on City!
You would get good odds on thatPredicting Jesus & Sterling to both score from their first 1 on 1 tonight, have faith...
I agree. Funny though it seems to always take our new attacking signings two seasons to get going. Mahrez, Bernardo, Sané.
We can use Zinchenko in midfield if we're cruising and bring Gundogan or Bernardo off.Three full backs on the bench is a bit of overkill.
That’s a tad bizarre comment, we’ve got a bench of 9 with kids on it. Pep is just putting all his senior pros on there too.Three full backs on the bench is a bit of overkill.
me to mate, this is going to be a hard game even with then under strength, just hope they dont cripple one of usI see where you're coming from; honestly, I do. But I'll gladly settle for a no-scares 2-0 win, thanks very much.
Cancelo will definitely do that, but that’s how we’ve been playing anyway. Zinchenko has been in a wide back 3 in possession.I can only think he's relying on Cancelo to get forward more and play through the middle
TBF, I dont think Kev is a great captain. Dias is a born leader.KDB?
When’s this from?Aymeric Laporte: "At the moment I'm here, I'll play today, we'll see what happens. I'm happy at #ManCity, I always thought I'd spend many years here. I hope that will happen. I will see what happens between now and the end of the season but for now I'm happy."
can understand his frustration , but no way city will allow him to leave !
Can’t disagree with any of that.Enjoy the game tonightFWIW I’ve always been a fan of Gundo and my comment wasn’t a direct reply to the discussion on him but rather a general observation re some posters who get triggered by the slightest hint of negativity or complaint about one of our players or any decision the club makes.
I think people should be allowed to voice their frustrations at players and it doesn’t make someone any less of a fan if they do.
