Cancelo will definitely do that, but that’s how we’ve been playing anyway. Zinchenko has been in a wide back 3 in possession.

He might come further over though so he could pass to either winger? THat's if he lines up as a right back back.

I'm not Mahrez's biggest fan but I think that is harsh. He was afforded a lot more space and rarely played against packed defences for Leicester. Meant he could get his paceup and get passed a defender. Lot more difficult to do that when we push teams so far back.

I mostly blame Pep for this as he went against what we were good at and tried to find a tactic in Inverted wingers to evolve us when it really wasn't required.

As is being proven now, we are much better with natural width

If a winger constantly tries to beat his man, but it doesn't happen I can forgive that.

Sterling has been going through a bad patch of form, but he never stops trying to beat his man. You can see his confidence is really low and he often delays his shot or final pass too long. But at least he's trying.

I think my major problem with Mahrez is that he often just doesn't seem to fancy it. He has the ability to beat any fullback, but he so often checks back and plays the easy option.

But the most frustrating thing about him for me is his decision making, so many times he could puts team mate through on goal and he delays too long or just tries to set himself up for a shot, it's so frustrating.

It's hardly surprising that he might be dissapointed with the lack of game time, he's a world class CB. I would be more worried if he wasn't bothered about sitting on the bench. Hopefully he works hard and makes himself first choice again.

I like the idea of playing Laporte at left-back for two reasons
1. It adds more height to our defence, especially over Zinc.
2. It allows Len/Kyle to move into midfield.

Good squad rotation too.

That was the role I had Ake marked down for as he has played there, but best plans and like.

Sterling has not been going past, or trying to, full backs for ages. He did in the last game and did it easily. So frustrating for me but he does what the manager tells him and that's not get to the line and knoock it in

Between now and the end of the season - I reckon he is waiting for lockdown to end and see what impact the opening of night clubs has on some players form?
